PUTRAJAYA: Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali was laid to rest at Pusara Negara in Precinct 20 on September 28, with her husband, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, visibly overcome with emotion as the talkin was recited.
Family members comforted the former prime minister during the graveside recitation that followed the burial. He attended in a wheelchair, accompanied by his children Datin Paduka Marina, Tan Sri Mokhzani and Datuk Seri Mukhriz.
Dr Siti Hasmah was buried with state honours beside Tun Endon Mahmood, the wife of former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
