KUALA LUMPUR: BTS fans began queueing as early as 3am at several Maybank branches today for the group's limited-edition debit card, according to posts on social media.

Maybank started issuing the BTS WORLD TOUR 'Arirang' Visa debit card at 12 selected branches today. Each branch releases only 60 cards a day, subject to stock.

A Threads user, Irfan Othman, who works at the bank, shared scenes of the queue at the Shah Alam branch.

"Respect to this lady, she has been queueing since 3am for the BTS card," he wrote.

Another user, Diahhbahri, said her group arrived at 4.30am, while Nina Enany was there by 7am. Queues were also reported at the Bukit Bintang branch.

"Thank you Maybank Shah Alam, the staff were all lovely," Diahhbahri wrote.
